Appointments

You may contact the surgery Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 6.30pm.

We Offer

• The opportunity to book your appointment in advance
• The opportunity to speak to a doctor over the phone
• The opportunity to book with the doctor of your choice

Consultations are by appointment and URGENT cases will be seen the same day.

Appointments are 10 minutes long but if you feel you need a longer appointment, please tell the receptionist when booking, as this will assist us in better management of surgery times.

Patients Aged Over 75

All patients over the age of 75 are encouraged to make an appointment with a health care professional at least once a year (unless they are already having regular follow-ups by a doctor) in order that we can offer any help or advice that may be needed.

Home Visits

Please call the surgery as early as possible if you believe a home visit to be necessary. You will be asked to give staff an idea of your problem, so they can ensure you receive the best care.

A doctor may telephone you to assess the situation.

Please remember that several people can be seen at the surgery in the time it takes to do a home visit.

Test Results

Test results can only be given to the patient to whom they refer, so please do not ask a family member to call on your behalf.

The telephones are usually busiest during the morning, so please phone for results after 2.00pm.
